What We Do

The main focus of the ARK Foundation is to help people to positions of empowerment and self-reliance wherever possible and with that in mind we aim to become a self-supporting organisation. We have managed to both start and grow our organisation with the help of some generous donations, however we are slowly becoming self-sufficient with the income from projects that our group of volunteers is working with in Nkhata Bay at the moment.

Establishing Services for Nkhata Bay

We are constantly looking at ways where we can generate income that will both provide employment and training for people in the local community for example Carpentry, Chicken Farming and Tailoring.

Helping the Community

We have several projects running at the moment which are all for the people of Nkhata Bay to participate for example a regular children's group, and working with elderly. We hope that there will be many more projects for many more people to take part in.
